We focus on leveraging regional innovation assets to maximize SBIR participation. Unlike many who focus on SBIR outreach, InteliSpark is careful to focus efforts on companies that are likely to be competitive. We will not encourage companies that are unlikely to be competitive to submit SBIR and STTR proposals. We view it as a disservice to small companies to encourage them to commit scare time and resources pursuing low probability opportunities. We firmly believe quality over quantity approaches will yield the most effective economic development outcomes.
